Language

The official language of the congress is English.
English-Japanese interpretation service will not be provided in any of the congress sessions.

Power Plug Type / Voltage

In Japan the power plugs and sockets are of type A and B. The standard voltage is 100 V and the standard frequency is 50Hz in the Tokyo area.

English Language Medical Services

Toranomon Hospital is the closest hospital to the Toronamon Hills venue providing medical services in English.

The US Embassy also provides a list of medical resources in Tokyo.

Climate

The climate in November in Tokyo is generally pleasant; the average min/max temperatures are 8/16 degrees centigrade. Participants are recommended to bring a sweater and jacket since it can be chilly at night. Japan Weather Forecast, Tokyo

Tokyo

Tokyo is the capital of Japan, and a world leading megalopolis. You will find old Japanese architecture like Sensoji Temple, and modern towns like the Shinjuku skyscrapers. Moreover, a quiet place like the Imperial Palace and a town with vigor like the Akihabara Electrical Town can also be found. Tokyo is also in close proximity to other major urban and tourist centers including Hakone, Nikko and Mt. Fuji.
